SHIMLA: Leader of opposition
Jai Ram Thakur said on Tuesday that the state is on the “verge of getting auctioned” under the Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu-led Congress regime.
Thakur said that the Congress govt has failed to defend state’s rights, and its properties like the Himachal Bhawan in Delhi are being attached because of the failure of the govt to pursue its cases strongly.
“This is extremely shameful and irresponsible attitude of the government, due to which this situation has arisen,” said Thakur.
He added that the state govt, which claimed to change the system, has brought such a downfall in the system that its example will be given for a long time. Thakur asserted that the state government should accept its failure.
“I know that this time also the CM will tell some lies with great confidence, will mislead the people of the state in some way or the other and will try to put all the blame on the BJP,” quipped Thakur.
