PM Modi launches Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra to promote central schemes
Prime Minister Narendra Modi has launched the 'Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra', a nationwide program to connect with eligible citizens who have not yet benefited from central schemes. The program will be carried out through specially designed IEC vans, which will travel to various districts with significant tribal populations. The campaign aims to reach beneficiaries in both rural and urban areas and will conclude on January 25, 2024. The vans will cover 2.7 lakh gram panchayats and around 15,000 urban locations to carry out ground-level activities.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will launch the 'Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra' campaign on November 15. The campaign aims to reach vulnerable citizens who are eligible for government schemes but have not benefited yet. It will cover two districts with significant tribal populations and raise awareness through outreach activities. A total of 111 vans will be allocated to cover rural areas, with an additional four vans for urban areas. The campaign will be launched nationwide in the third week of November.

The Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra, a nationwide initiative to inform and empower citizens about the government's flagship schemes, was launched in Tawang, Arunachal Pradesh. The campaign, which was flagged off by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, reached over one lakh people across 259 Gram Panchayats on its first day. The Yatra aims to raise awareness about government welfare schemes and achieve 100% saturation. It also encourages citizens to actively participate in the country's development.
