Meghalaya guv to unfurl tricolour in Shillong

Shillong: All preparations have been made for the celebration of the 75th Republic Day in Meghalaya along with the rest of the country. The state-level Republic Day function will be held at the Polo Grounds where governor Phagu Chauhan will unfurl the national flag. Republic Day functions will be held in all the district headquarters of the state, reports Manosh Das.

A state-level Republic Day function will be held in Junagadh, where Governor Acharya Devvrat will unfurl the tricolour. The flag hoisting event in Gandhinagar will be conducted by Gujarat assembly speaker Shankar Chaudhary. Additionally, the state's tableau at the Republic Day parade in Delhi will showcase Dhordo and border tourism, along with the traditional garba dance.

Punjab edu minister to unfurl Tricolour on R-Day in Mohali

Punjab education minister Harjot Singh Bains will unfurl the national flag at Shaheed Major Harminderpal Singh Government College in Mohali on Republic Day. Additional deputy commissioner Viraj Shyamkarn Tidke directed preparations for the district-level celebrations, including advance rehearsals at the college.
