IIM Shillong student gets job offer with ₹71.5L CTC

Shillong: A student of IIM Shillong’s PGP (post graduate programs) 2022-24 batch bagged a whopping Rs 71.50 lakh per annum CTC(cost to company), the institute said in a statement on Friday. Of the 283 students of the batch who got the placements, 79% are males and the remaining 21% are females while the average CTC offered to them is Rs 26.10 lakh per annum, the statement said.
“The 283-student class received employment offers from 87 recruiters in a variety of fields, including consulting and strategy, finance, general management, human resources and operations, IT and analytics, and sales and marketing. The high median CTC of 25.67 LPA (lakh per annum) has made IIM Shillong one of the preferred among the premier institutes,” the IIM statement said.
“The top 10% students secured an average CTC of Rs 43.15 LPA, while the top 20% secured an average CTC of Rs 38.43 LPA,” it said.
