NAMAKKAL: Madhya Pradesh chief minister Mohan Yadav accused DMK of betraying women and perpetuating a family rule.While campaigning for BJP candidate Premkumar in Rasipuram, Yadav accused the DMK–Congress alliance of blocking the Women’s Reservation Bill, calling it a betrayal of ordinary women aspiring to enter politics. “They do not want women from simple families to rise in public life,” he said.

He alleged that corruption and law-and-order problems had worsened under their leadership.He emphasized Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s initiatives to promote the Tamil language in education and competitive exams. He termed the installation of the "sengol" in parliament as a mark of respect for the Tamil heritage.He criticised the state govt for failing to provide basic amenities like drinking water and electricity to the people of Rasipuram. “You must vote for change and work hard to ensure it,” he told the gathering.
