Two killed in Garhwa as four-wheeler rams bike

Garhwa: A 60-year-old woman and her 30-year-old grandson were killed in a road accident on Bhawanathpur-Kharondhi road under Bhawanathpur police station limits on Thursday. The police said the deceased were identified as Bachiya Devi and Vinay Singh. The duo was travelling to a relative’s house at Koslibar village when their bike collided with a four-wheeler. Both were killed on the spot. Bhawanathpur police station officer in-charge Rajni Ranjan said, “The bodies of the deceased were sent to Garhwa Sadar hospital for post-mortem examination and both the vehicles have been seized. We are investigating the case.”
