GARWA: In separate cases, Trinamool Congress party chief Mamata Banerjee, sitting MP and party nominee Kameshwar Baitha, Imam of Kolkata's Tipu Sultan Majid, Anwarul Hoda Barkati, party Dhanbad nominee Chandra Shekhar Dubey alias Dadai Dubey and Himanshu Kumar were booked for flouting the code of conduct in the district.

The second case pertains to Kameshwar Baitha's campaign in Shaheed Nilamber town hall on Sunday. Baitha and the Shahi Imam was booked for holding campaigns without permission. Baitha's supporters had arranged for a projector to show excerpts of parliamentary proceedings to the people who gathered at the town hall.
Later addressing a public meeting, the Imam said that Baitha is the voice of the poor. "Baitha has done many work for all round development of Palamu during his tenure", said the Imam. He appealed to the people to cast their votes in favour of TMC candidate Baitha and help building a healthy democracy.
