Ranchi: Former Jharkhand high court Justice Ambu Nath on Friday emphasised the need for strict institutional compliance of Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act 2013, commonly known as POSH.
Justice Nath was the chief guest for the Regional Law Review Consultation (Eastern Zone) organised at the National University of Study and Research in Law (NUSRL) in collaboration with National Commission for Women (NCW).
Speaking on the occasion, the former justice reiterated the requirement of the enactment and strict enforcement of the laws with regards to taking action against offenders, indulging in sexual harassment of women employees in their respective workplaces.
