Senior IPS officers get promotion

Ranchi: Nine IPS officers would get promoted to level-13 pay matrix with effect from January 1, 2023. They are Y S Ramesh, Kartik S, Surindra Kumar Jha, Chothe Manoj Ratan, Sandhya Rani Mehta, Dhananjaya Kumar Singh, Ashwani Kumar Sinha, Shailendra Kumar Barnwal and Kumar Ravishankar. The officers would continue to serve in their current position. On Wednesday, the government also promoted Pankaj Kamboj, Asim Vikrant Minz and Rajkumar Lakra to the post of Inspector General.
