: Police on Wednesday lodged two FIRs in connection with the unrest that broke out on Tuesday evening after a bag of meat was found on NH-32 near

footage found that the bag containing the meat was thrown by a bike rider.

Chas DSP Arvind Kumar Sinha

said, ''Two FIRs were lodged in this connection. One was against the unidentified person who threw the meat and the second one was lodged against six named persons and 300 unknown persons who went on rampage creating law and order problems. We have identified some of the anti-social elements through the footage."

One constable was injured after being hit by stones. DC Rai Mahimapat Ray said that the situation was under control. SP Y S Ramesh said that the police are examining the CCTV footage. The face of the biker who was seen near the bag is not clear. Effort to identify him is on. Police have been deployed at the spot to keep an eye on the situation.
