today said the aim is to save water and plantation.
Saying that water, forest and land were not just slogans, but were identities of the state,

Das

said the government has done significant work in water management in the last 15-16 months.
Jharkhand is embarking on a month long planting of one crore saplings from July 1.
Appealing to make it a people's movement with each person planting five saplings, Das said people's participation was required for success, an official release said here.
Everyone should have the feeling that the state is theirs and should work for its betterment, Das said.
Stating that he has come to make changes in politics and bring people into better direction, Das stressed upon the importance of water and urged not to waste water.
He said modernisation was necessary, but attention should also be given on plantation "otherwise, we cannot give a better Jharkhand to the generation next, and it is our duty to give a better Jharkhand to them."
Citing how air-conditioned cars pollute more, Das said it was one's responsibility to protect greenery.
Lauding the contribution of the media about attracting water problem, Das said 1.76 lakh dobha (small ponds) and 1,000 ponds have already been dug.

said the government has taken up work for a total six lakh dobha and speedy work was on progress.
She added that emphasis was also given on water conservation and management. Development Commissioner
