New initiatives launched: NUSRL Ranchi kicks off continuous legal education for young advocates; Aims to strengthen legal skills and support undertrial prisoners

Ranchi: The National University of Study and Research in Law (NUSRL), Ranchi, on Wednesday announced the launch of continuous legal education (CLE) programme for advocates with less than five years of experience and undertrial prisoners project (UTP) programme.“NUSRL authorities met with Jharkhand State Legal Services Authority (Jhalsa) and department of prison under state home department discussed on the project’s framework, strategy, and measures to ensure its widest possible outreach,” NUSRL said.“Emphasis was laid on providing enhanced training to lawyers with less than five years of experience to strengthen their legal competence and advocacy skills," it added.The meeting was held under the leadership of NUSRL VC Ashok R Patil.
