Jamshedpur: A man killed his father at the GF Flats in Tayo colony under the Gamharia police station limits in adjoining Seraikela on Tuesday. The accused, Manas Das, killed his Ramnath Das (55) with a sharp weapon at their home in the evening, police said. After committing the crime, the accused surrendered at the Gamharia police station. Police said Manas has been arrested but he is not in a stable frame of mind and avoiding questions. The intent of the killing would be known once he speaks up, Seraikela SDPO Sameer Kumar Sawaiya said.
