Ranchi: Jharkhand governor Santosh Gangwar and chief minister Hemant Soren jointly launched the state-level campaign titled ‘Swasth Nari, Sashakt Parivar’ from Sadar Hospital on Wednesday. The campaign, aimed at strengthening women’s health and empowerment, is expected to play a pivotal role in building stronger families and a healthier society. The governor and CM also flagged off an awareness chariot from the venue.Under this, women’s health camps will be organised in both rural and urban areas till October 2 to provide timely diagnosis and treatment. The CM said, “A healthy woman lays the foundation of a strong family and a strong society. Women’s role in society is of utmost importance, and only a healthy woman can make both her family and society stronger.” He emphasised that the govt considers women’s health and empowerment as a top priority and is consistently working in areas of health, nutrition, education, and awareness.
