Farmer Shot in Thigh During Home Invasion in Palamu; Bag Stolen
Daltonganj: Unidentified criminals barged into the house of a farmer and shot him in the thigh at Jobla village in Palamu district on Saturday night. The injured person, identified as Baijnath Singh, 55, underwent treatment at MMCH Daltonganj.The officer-in-charge of Panki police station, Rajesh Ranjan, said, “The unidentified miscreants took away a bag from the house and decamped with it."It is not yet clear what was in the bag, as the injured farmer was changing his version from time to time. The miscreants did not harm any other member of the farmer's family, he said.
