Daltonganj: The urban local body election in Daltonganj (Medininagar) will be conducted by a five-member polling party, unlike Lok Sabha and Vidhan Sabha elections where it was a four-member polling party, the deputy election officer Ratan Kumar Singh said.
“The five-member polling party will comprise one presiding officer, three polling officials, and one grade four staff," Singh said.

A voter will cast two votes — one for the mayor and one for the ward commissioner, Singh said.
The Medininagar Municipal Corporation has a little over 1.29 lakh voters, while the number of polling stations in the corporation limits is 132.
"It is an average of 1,000 voters a booth. The voting time is 7 am to 5 pm. It will be a smooth conduct of voting," he said.
