Cyclone Jawad: Trains cancelled on Dec 3 & 4

Jamshedpur: Three long-distance

trains

originating and passing through the Tatanagar station have been

cancelled

on December 3 and 4 because of

Cyclone Jawad

.

Officials of the Chakradharpur division railway said Yesvantpur-bound weekly express (12889) originating from Tatanagar on Friday is cancelled. Besides, the New Delhi-Puri Purushottam express (12802), Puri-New Delhi Purushottam express (12801), Haridwar-Puri Kalinga Utkal express (18478) and Puri-Haridwar Utkal express (18477) will not run on December 3 and 4. Further, Anand Vihar-Puri Neelachal express (12876) will remain cancelled on December 4.

The South Eastern Railway has also cancelled 49 long and short distance trains on the up route and 46 trains on the down route connecting Tatanagar on two dates.

“Chakradharpur division will also announce helpline numbers for passengers on its busy stations, senior divisional commercial manager (Chakradharpur) Manish Pathak said.
