Cricket coach from Ramgarh found dead in Hazaribag

Hazaribag: A cricket coach from Ramgarh, who trained young girls, was found dead in Barhi on Thursday. The deceased Santosh Sharma (48) was found dead at the multipurpose building at Barhi block ground. Sharma was a native of Bhurkunda in Ramgarh district and was working at the Barhi block office since 2023 on contractual basis. He was associated with the Barhi Sports Association where he trained girls. No external injuries were found in his body, sources said.Ramesh Thakur, the representative of Barhi MLA Manoj Yadav, informed the police about the recovery. Barhi police station in-charge Binod Kumar said an investigation has begun to probe Sharma’s death. “The cause of death could be ascertained after the postmortem report arrives,” he said.
