CM helps student join coaching institute

Bokaro: The poverty stricken 18-year-old youth, Ankit Kumar, who scored 96.2% in matric and recently sought help from the chief minister to continue studies, got admission in a coaching institute with the support of the district administration.
Kumar, a resident of Barkipunnu village of Gomia block, used to sell toys in rural fairs to finance his education. Ankit’s father is physically weak and his mother, who sells bangles, lost her arms and legs in a road accident.
“He has been enrolled in a coaching institute in the district headquarters. The administration has also made arrangements for his stay,” said deputy commissioner Kuldeep Chaudhary. The DC has approved Dr Bhim Rao Ambedkar’s residence for his mother, Biraju Devi. The block development officer has offered her a letter of approval for a house.
Meanwhile, the enrolment form of the institute and study materials were made available to Ankit.
