Bokaro woman kills self

Bokaro: Priyanka Kumari, an undergraduate at the Visthapith College, Balidih committed suicide here on Thursday at L H Colony under Balidih police station. This was the twelfth suicide in the past three months.
Most of the suicide victims were young and were found hanging. The incident mostly occurred in town areas. Earlier on April 5, police recovered the body of a 48-year-old man, Suresh Prasad Chaudhary from CoolingPond, who ended his life after failing to come to terms with his daughter's death.
His daughter Rimjhim Kumari (18) had commited suicide at the same spot on March 28. Priyanka Kumari's (21) was found hanging in her room by police at 11.30 am. There was no one in the house.
Rimjhim's father, Suresh had gone to work when she took her life. DSP said that her body was sent for postmortem and was handed over to her family members. A case of unnatural death has been lodged in this connection with Marafari police station.
