BJP MP slams Bengal govt over Murshidabad structure

Bokaro: Dhanbad BJP MP Dhulu Mahto on Sunday strongly criticised West Bengal chief minister Mamata Banerjee after the foundation stone for a structure resembling the "Babri Masjid style" was laid in Murshidabad.

The development stirred political reactions, prompting the MP to issue a sharp statement during his visit to Bokaro.

Mahto alleged that the Banerjee govt was deliberately following a "divisive and communal" political approach. “The time for her exit has come," he added.

The MP further claimed that the Trinamool Congress is headed for a complete rout in the 2026 West Bengal Assembly elections.

He also warned that the country would not tolerate Rohingya settlers and illegal Bangladeshi infiltrators, asserting that the BJP, as well as citizens, are prepared to take firm action against them.
