BJP block general secy held in Sahu murder case

HAZARIBAG: The Barhi block general secretary of the Bharatiya Janata Party was arrested on Monday night in connection with the murder of Ajsu Party leader Tileshwar Sahu on March 8.
Binod Yadav was missing from his Barhi residence since March 5, said Barhi SDPO Avinash Kumar.
He came to his village to celebrate holi but before police could arrest him, he surrendered, police said."We will get important disclosures from Binod about the murder of Sahu."
Yadav's name figured in Sahu murder case following statements given by Suraj Kumar who was arrested on March 8 immediately after the murder.
Police had conducted raids in Azad Mohalla where Suraj was staying at the residence of Amit Jaiswal with his two associates - Ganesh Shankar and Mohit.
It was from his room that the police recovered five time bombs, four pistols,10 live cartridges, explosives including bomb making materials and remote control.All the explosives were seized by police and Bharatiya Yuv Morcha leader Amit Jaiswal to whom the house belonged was taken into custody on March 9.
Jaiswal had informed police that he gave his house on rent to the trio on the request of Binod Yadav.
Jaiswal further informed police that the accused were not known to him and so he handed over the key to Binod.
Sahu was killed near his house when he was addressing a gathering on the occasion of International Women's Day. Thousands of party workers had called a statewide bandh on the next day and demanded CBI inquiry into the case.The Barhi police has made a breakthrough in the murder case of AJSU party general secretary Tileshwar Sahu at Barhi on March 8 with the arrest of Binod Yadav, general secretary of the Barhi Block unit of the BJP on Monday night.
