Biker killed in head-on collision with car in Itkhori
Patna, Feb 17 (IANS) Two teachers lost their lives, and 16 others were injured, including 11 school students and five teachers, in a tragic road accident in Rohtas district, Bihar, in the early hours of Tuesday.
Chatra: A 27-year-old man, who was returning home after dropping his sister at her in-laws' place, was killed after his bike was hit by a car on Karni Road in Itkhori on Wednesday. The deceased was identified as Manohar Kumar Rana, a resident of Barisakhi in Gidhaur. He was returning from his sister’s home in Parsawan village when he was hit by a car from the opposite direction near Paroka-Kalna. Manohar died on the spot.

Abhishek Kumar Singh, the officer-in-charge of Itkhori police station, said efforts are on to identify the bike. “The body was sent to Chatra sadar hospital for postmortem examination,” he added.
