Additional police forces to be deployed top tourist destination in Ramgarh
Ramgarh: Famous Goddess Chhinnamastika temple in Rajrappa and Patratu Lake Resort of Jharkhand Tourism Development Corporation (JTDC) in Ramgarh district which are the one of the top most crowded tourist destinations in the state has been fully prepared to welcome new year revellers with adiquete security forces and surveilance with CCTV cameras.
Additional security forces to be deployed in Rajrappa temple and Patratu Lake Resort. Administration has also deploy cops on Patratu valley to ensure smooth movement of vehicles on the highway connecting Patratu Lake Resort with state capital Ranchi.
Ashish Agrawal, officiating deputy commissioner cum deputy development commissioner, Ramgarh said that administration has made better arrangements in popular tourist destinations which including Rajrappa temple, Patratu Lake Resort and other destinations in the district for new year day celebration in Ramgarh district while officials has been directed to keep vigil to avoid any untoward incidents not only in tourist spots but highways and connecting roads.
Goddess Chhinnamastika temple in Rajrappa of Ramgarh district nearly 70km away from Ranchi is second most crowded temples of the state after Baijnath Dham in Deoghar sees huge footfall of devotees, tourists and picnickers. Those who wants to get blessing from Goddess Chhinnamastika in new year day prioritized to visit Rajrappa temple.
Ajay Panda, chief priest in Rajrappa temple said that above 60k people not only from Jharkhand but also from West Bengal, Bihar, Odisha and Chhattishgarh expected to arrive Rajrappa temple and temple committee has requested for deployment of additional police forces.
Gaurav Goswami, additional superintendent of police (ASP), Patratu in Ramgarh district said that CCTV cameras has been installed in Patratu Lake Resort to keep close vigil while additional security forces has been deployed in the the Patratu Lake Resort. Cops alsi deployed in Patratu valley for free movement of vehicle.
