Lohardaga police arrested
three persons on Friday. Police found cash and land documents, a car, pass books, cheque books and ATM cards. Police sources that it had come to light that some associates of CPI Maoists were coming to collect levy amount from a private company engaged in workof transporting in the same district. Following the secret information, a team of police carried out raids at Ajay udeyan locality in the district headquarter from where all three persons were arrested .SP Kartik S said that the arrested persons were identified as Rohit Yadav, Raj Kumar Singh and Salim Akhtar and r. He said that these persons were generating funds for ban outfit CPI Maoists, which is a grave issue. SP said that Rohit is a close associate of Nakul Yadav regional commander of CPI Maoists. Police have recovered a cash amount of Rs 25 lakh apart from other things from them.
