28-yr-old dies by suicide in Bokaro

Bokaro: A 28-year-old man, Shyam Kumar, died by suicide in an abandoned school under the Harla police station of the town. The body of Kumar, who was a food delivery boy for Zomato, was found hanging inside the building of Bokaro Ispat Vidyalaya in Sector 8, after being informed by a girl.
Harla police station in-charge Santosh Kumar said, “We are investigating the incident.Prima facie, it looks like suicide. The body is being sent for postmortem. A scooter, a helmet and a water bottle of the deceased have been recovered from the spot. A love affair gone wrong seems to be the reason behind the suicide.”
Kailash Sao, the father of the deceased, said his son left home located in Rai Chowk in Sector 8 at 7 am, saying that he would be coming back soon. He, however, did not return and a girl called up Sao.
The girl told him that Kumar is hanging himself in the school. Sao went to the school, which was abandoned for the last few years, and found his son hanging.
During investigations, police found that the deceased entered the school building driving the scooter, which was found parked inside a classroom. It is believed that while talking to his girlfriend over the phone, he hanged himself with electric wires from the room.
The police have taken over Kumar’s phone for their investigation.
