Man accuses kin of forcibly detaining wife

A 71-year-old former state secretary has filed a court complaint in Jamnagar alleging illegal detention of his wife by his stepdaughter and son-in-law.
Complainant BA Songara has alleged that his wife Jaishree Songara is suffering from a degenerative brain disease, which causes memory loss.
Songara got his wife treated by a psychiatrist in Rajkot, from where Jaishree's daughter from her previous husband took her to her home to Ahmedabad.Songara alleged that his wife was held captive at his step daughter's home and listed her and her husband as the accused.
