Woman found dead, face crushed to hide identity

Raipur: A middle-aged woman was murdered with her head crushed in Chhattisgarh's Ambikapur on Friday morning. Police suspect sexual assault before the killing. The unidentified woman's blood-soaked body was found outside a makeshift meat shop around Kotwali region.Police said the woman bore multiple injuries, including deep cuts on her neck inflicted by a sharp weapon, while her face had been brutally disfigured, apparently to conceal her identity.Investigators are scanning CCTV footage from nearby areas, which reportedly shows the woman arriving with another person. Efforts are underway to trace the suspect.
