Raipur: With just six month to go for state assembly polls,
Chhattisgarh BJP president Arun Sao on Saturday claimed that several leaders from the state Congress are in touch with the BJP and he would “reveal their names at an appropriate time.”
Speaking to presspersons in his Lok Sabha constituency, Bilaspur, Sao asserted that many prominent Congress figures are in contact with the BJP.
He also remarked that chief minister
Bhupesh Baghel's “charm in Chhattisgarh has faded, and this will be proven in the upcoming assembly elections at the end of this year.”
Sao further claimed that Congress government has “deceived” every section of society, and “the people will respond fittingly to the chief minister in the elections.”
He also alleged that numerous Congress leaders are discontented and are unable to face the public due to the Congress government's deception of the people.
He further stated that Prime Minister Modi remains the most popular leader in the world and has captured the hearts of the
common people.
Hitting back, the chief minister stated that the BJP is perplexed following Nand Kumar Sai's departure from the party.
"The BJP president has realized that the magic of PM Modi and
Amit Shah has waned and that his inclination towards 'Bulldozer Baba' is growing," he said while speaking to reporters at an event in the Masturi constituency of Chhattisgarh.
