Sainik School in Chhattisgarh holds investiture ceremony to instill responsibility among cadets

RAIPUR: Sainik School, Ambikapur, organised the annual Investiture Ceremony to develop a sense of responsibility among the cadets. Principal Colonel Reema Sobti, Army Education Corps (AEC), who recently took charge, was the chief guest of the ceremony. According to the school authorities, the selection of cadets is based on their overall performance in the school. They are selected as house captains, prefects, and leaders based on the criteria of cooperation, management, and leadership skills and are chosen for school leadership.

Vice-Principal Lieutenant Colonel P Shrinivas and administrative officer Squadron Leader James Nayar presented positions to the school sports captain, cadet Swapnis Singh; school vice-captain, cadet Ansh Singh; academic vice-captain, cadet Utkarsh Bharti; school sports vice-captain, cadet Samir Bhaskar; school mess vice-captain, cadet Ayush Sahu; school cultural vice-captain, cadet Pushpendra Singh; school CCA vice-captain, cadet Bhupendra Siddar; NCC junior under officer, cadet Siddharth Kumar Singh; school band vice-captain, cadet Divyanshu Sahu, thereby appointing them in the school. Additionally, the selected house master and house vice-captains were also appointed.

The Principal made the students aware of their responsibilities and accountability. The Principal informed the cadets about their duties and emphasised the need to foster a sense of cooperation with school management. She also highlighted the importance of self-discipline and self-management in fulfilling their duties.
