Raipur Counsellor wins CBSE National Teachers' Award

, who is associated with many schools in Raipur, won the "Best Counsellor" award at the CBSE

National Teachers' Award

2017-2018 held at New Delhi on September 6.


Talking to TOI Smita said, "I feel very nice and proud that I have been recognized for the work I have been doing for a very long time. Now I will be able to reach out to more people and children and help them through counselling."

Speaking about her work Smita said, "I have been working with teachers, parents, and students for last 18 years providing them guidance and training."

"As a dedicated counsellor and psychotherapist, my focus has been to emphasize the concept of positive reinforcement of self and others with a goal of assisting individuals to take responsibility for their lives in a way that is empowering."
