Minor raped in Chhattisgarh

RAIPUR: A 16-year-old girl was allegedly gang raped by three youths in her village in Janjgir district of Chhattisgarh on Friday.
The accused, who were identified as Rohit Dinakar (28), Naresh Dinakar (19) and Ballu Dinakar (39), were arrested by the police.
The incident took place on Friday noon when the victim had left her aunt's house, where she stays, for some work.She alleged that the three men, who were of the same village accosted her on the way and took her to a deserted place and raped her.
The victim informed her mother who works in Delhi and on her advise informed the police. The victim was taken for a medical check up and the report is awaited.
A case has been registered under IPC section 376, 341, 342 and Protection of Children from Sexual Offence (POCSO) Act.
Talking to TOI, additional SP, Vijay Agarwal, said that accused has been sent to judicial custody.
