The third season of the Chhattisgarh Cricket Premier League (CCPL-3) will begin on June 3 at the Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh International Cricket Stadium in Nava Raipur. Six franchise teams will compete in the tournament: Raipur Rhinos, Bilaspur Bulls, Rajnandgaon Panthers, Surguja Tigers, Bastar Bisons and Raigarh Lions.The league matches are scheduled from June 3 to 10. The semi-finals will take place on 12 June, followed by the final match on June 14.Entry to the stadium will be free for all spectators. Opening ceremony and initial fixtureThe opening match will feature Raipur Rhinos against Rajnandgaon Panthers on June 3 at 9 pm.Cultural events will precede the game starting at 7:30 pm, featuring a performance by Bollywood actress Mouni Roy.The Chhattisgarh State Cricket Sangh (CSCS) has introduced several initiatives to attract larger crowds to the venue and boost the tournament’s popularity. CSCS director Vijay Shah announced daily cash prizes for match attendees through lucky draws, subject to certain terms and conditions.Spectators must remain physically present with their tickets at the venue to claim the prizes. Attendees can participate by filling out the form on the back of their physical match tickets.
For the opening day on June 3 and the final match on 14 June 2026, ten lucky spectators will receive prizes worth a total of Rs 3 lakh. These include a two-wheeler as the first prize, followed by cash prizes ranging from Rs 40,000 for second place down to Rs 14,000 for the ninth and tenth positions.During the league matches from June 4 to 12, ten lucky winners will be awarded Rs 10,000 in cash each daily. Any spectator who catches a ball in the stands during a match will also receive a cash award of Rs 10,000.Spectators must book their free tickets online. To gain entry on match days, attendees must show the screenshot of their online booking at the stadium counters to get a physical pass. Spectators need to write their name, mobile number and email address on the back of the ticket before dropping it into the collection boxes at the entry gates, while retaining the counterfoil portion.Prize draws will occur during the innings break of the second match each day, with the names of winners displayed on the big screen of the stadium. Free shuttle services will operate from various nearby locations to ferry fans to the venue.To build momentum for the tournament, a CCPL canter activity commenced across various districts on 29 May and will run until 7 June. The promotional vehicle will visit designated locations from 7 am to 10 am and 5 pm to 8 pm daily. The route covers Raipur, Kanker, Jagdalpur, Dhamtari, Rajnandgaon, Bhilai-Durg, Bilaspur, Raigarh, Korba and Ambikapur. Special promotional installations will also be set up at commercial hubs and malls across Raipur, Bilaspur, Kanker, Raigarh, Rajnandgaon and Ambikapur.
