Cyclists pedal social awareness issues in 34-day rally to Delhi

Ten cycling enthusiasts, led by Dr Ajeya Shesh from Korba in Chhattisgarh, have embarked on a 34-day cycle rally from Raipur to New Delhi to create awareness among youth on social and national issues.

RAIPUR: Ten cycling enthusiasts, led by Dr Ajeya Shesh from Korba in Chhattisgarh, have embarked on a 34-day cycle rally from Raipur to New Delhi to create awareness among youth on social and national issues.
Organised by 'Ajeya Bharat Prakalp', the rally was flagged off by Raipur Mayor Pramod Dubey from Telibanda in the city.
."Our ten members are participating in the rally.

There will be two supporting vehicles accompanying us. We will cover a distance of 1640 km by road, about 70 km per day to reach parliament house in the capital", Dr Ajeya Shesh said. He said that 32 youth empowerment seminars would be held in various towns and villages during the rally to motivate and inspire youth towards right thinking and inculcate positive attitude towards life and career.
He said the rally would cover Chhattisgarh, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Haryana and Delhi.
