Raipur:
Chhattisgarh Pradesh Congress Committee (CPCC) president Deepak Baij on Thursday announced that the party is currently undergoing a nationwide organisation building. Addressing a press conference at the party state headquarters, Rajiv Bhawan, Raipur, Baij stated that the selection of district, block, and mandal presidents in the state has been finalised.
The formation of district and block executive committees is in progress and will be completed by March 31.
He added that the party has initiated the revision of booth, ward, and village committees. The state unit chief recently toured 10 districts, including Bastar, Dantewada, and Korba (Rural), covering 20 assembly constituencies to oversee the process.
He also highlighted a severe shortage of domestic gas cylinders. He claimed that cylinders are being black-marketed for Rs 3,000 while official booking systems remain non-functional.
