City’s temp over 41 for second day, MP hurtles towards 45
Bhopal: As the city reels under heat, the temperature remains above 41 degrees, refusing to relent or provide any relief to the city. The day temperature in Bhopal on Saturday was recorded at 41.4 degrees celsius, three degrees more than the normal mark, while the night temperature in the city was 23.4 degrees celsius, a degree more than the normal mark.The day temperature in the state almost touched 44 degrees on Saturday. A warning of heat waves continues for the state.The day temperature in Umaria was 43.8 degrees celsius, five degrees more than the normal mark. It was also the highest temperature recorded in the state in this season so far. Clouding due to the impact of western disturbance may halt the rising temperatures for two days, but largely dry hot weather would continue to dominate.In the forecast for Bhopal on Sunday the meteorological dept stated, there would be partly cloudy sky. The day and night temperature would be respectively 41 degrees celsius and 24 degrees celsius, while average wind speed will be ten kilometers per hour.In the forecast for the state the meteorological dept issued warning of heat wave for Umaria, Mandla, Chhatarpur, Tikamgarh and Niwari dists. A dry weather would prevail in all dists of the state.In the weather outlook the meteorological dept stated there would be no large change in maximum temperature during the next 5 days.
