BHILAI: Bhilai Steel Plant (BSP), district administration and Bhilai Municipal Corporation (BMC) will make joint efforts to ensure provision of basic amenities in BSP township, higher and technical education minister Prem Prakash Pandey said here on Friday. The decision was taken after the minister had a meeting with all concerned regarding basic amenities in the steel plant township.
BSP's chief executive officer S Chandrasekaran, executive director (P&A) L T Sherpa along with Durg sub divisional magistrate A K Vajpai and BMC commissioner Narendra Kumar Dugga were among those present at the meeting.
Rajbhasha month celebrations from Sept 19: Bhilai Steel Plant will be observing "Rajbhasha" month from September 19 to 30, organizing a series of competitions for BSP employees, excluding grade-IV employees.
Celebrations, which are to ensure guidelines laid down by Government of India for increase in use of Hindi, will begin on September 19 at the auditorium in the presence of executive director (works), BSP.
This will be followed by a debate contest, an essay writing competition, a letter writing contest,
slogan and painting competition and Unicode Typing contest.
Free homeopathy treatment camp tomorrow: Sanjeevani Arogya Vahini Welfare Society (SAVWS), a city-based organization associated with Dr Prafull Vijayakar's Predictive Homeopathy, is organizing a free homeopathy treatment camp at Kalyan College in Sector-7 on Sunday. SAVWS president Dr Lakshprad told TOI tthat the camp titled 'Hope for the Hopeless' is scheduled to be held between 10 am and 5 pm. It will be conducted under the guidance of Dr Kshitiz Joshi, Dr Anupam Mishra and Dr Vijendra Patel from Predictive Homeopathy (Mumbai). tnn
