Unregistered vehicle

Investigation into a car crash that killed two software engineers in Pune revealed that the Porsche Taycan, driven by a 17-year-old, had been operating without registration since March. The vehicle's owner had not paid the necessary registration fees.

Killer car

Aneesh Awadhia and Ashwini Koshta, both 24, were killed when the unregistered Porsche Taycan struck their bike from behind near a pub, dragging Koshta for 50 feet.

Legal consequences

The underage driver was detained and later released by the Juvenile Justice Board with conditions. Police have charged the father for allowing the juvenile to drive.

Court motion for adult trial

Following a directive from Maharashtra deputy CM Devendra Fadnavis, Pune police requested a sessions court on Monday to try the 17-year-old son of a prominent builder as an adult for his involvement in a high-speed accident.

Porsche Taycan speed


Pune police commissioner Amitesh Kumar said the teenager had confessed before the board (JJB) to his addiction to liquor. Despite this, he was driving the car without any legal eligibility at a speed of 160kmph when it hit the motorcycle.

Victims details


The victims of the accident were computer science engineering graduates from Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh. They had studied at an engineering college in Pune before securing employment at a software company.

Accused father detained

Vishal Agarwal, the father of the minor accused in the Pune Porsche crash case, was detained from Maharashtra's Sambajinagar on Tuesday morning. Agarwal was on the run after his son was detained in connection with the rash driving case.

ED/CBI should investigate into this matter if Judge had been bribed to give such stupid verdict for such heinous crime of taking 2 lives. Judge should be prosecuted and terminated from the post with immediate affect, before he takes up anymore cases with his crooked and criminal mindset !!
