NCP (SP) chief Sharad Pawar discharged from hospital after recovery

Pune: NCP (SP) chief Sharad Pawar was discharged from Ruby Hall Clinic on Saturday after receiving treatment at the health hub since Monday.Dr Purvez Grant, chief cardiologist, chairman and managing trustee of the hospital, said Pawar made a good recovery and was discharged at 12.15pm on Saturday. "The medical team has advised him to rest for the next few days before gradually returning to his routine duties and public engagements," he said.Pawar was hospitalised with persistent cough. He was diagnosed with chest congestion. Earlier, the hospital had said Pawar had been experiencing fatigue as a result of excessive work in recent days.
