Shirpad Raut, one of the applicants, told TOI, "I have applied for the non-creamy layer certificate. I was supposed to receive it on Wednesday. However, the officials at the CFC have not issued it till the evening. It would be difficult for me to apply for the engineering course as Thursday is the last day to submit the application."
Another applicant Nitin Joshi said, "I have applied for the non-creamy layer certificate for my son's admission. I have not received it yet." He added, "There are a large number of applicants who are facing similar problems." Tejas Gore, who waited at the CFC till the evening, said that there was heavy rush at the counters.
Jayshree Katare, sub-divisional magistrate (Haveli) said, "We have prepared a list of pending cases. We are trying to deliver most of the certificates by Thursday."
