PUNE: The Command Hospital here has become a favourite destination for beauty-conscious officers from the army.
The hospital's commandant, Major General Pradeep Bhargava - an expert in reconstructive surgery - said the clinic will provide treatments like facial rejuvenation, hair transplantation, breast surgery (both implants as well as reduction), and body contouring, using the most advanced techniques.

With experts like Colonel B. Chakravarty and Lt Colonel T.S. Bhatti - the latter have undergone six months' training in New York
- officials said the plastic surgery department in the last year alone has administered Botox injections to as many as 150 people.
"We have carried about 15 cases of face lifts, 40 lipo suction and tummy tucks, 70 cases of baggy eyelids, five breast implants and 30 breast reductions (both men as well as women)," said Bhatti, adding that several cases of rhinoplasty (correction of the nose) and body piercing have also been done.
"We're also starting a programme on hair transplantation in a big way, and plan to do as many as 50 cases a year," he said.
Market rates for such treatment are as follows:
One shot of Botox: Rs 20,000
Lipo suction: Rs 60,000
Breast implant: Rs 1 lakh
Breast reduction: Rs 50,000
