Johnny Bedford Band to perform at ‘SecSat Pondy’

PUDUCHERRY: The

Johnny Bedford Band

will perform at the May edition of live music concert christened ‘SecSat Pondy’ from 8pm onwards at the Puducherry Tourism Development Corporation’s (PTDC) Seagulls

Restaurant

near the old port.

It will perform solid

rock hits

by artistes and bands, including Bryan Adams, Bon Jovi, Eagles, Led Zeppelin, the Beatles, Deep Purple and Eric Clapton, among others.

The

band

is a mix of hard melodic rock and blues with high energy upbeat vocals and guitar-driven riffs that provide a positive musical experience for the audience, leaving them wanting more. Singer and lead guitarist Johnny Bedford has been the powerhouse behind several successful Chennai bands like Second Coming, Rescue Squad, New Horizon and also Powerlyne, which played at SecSat many years ago. He is known for his crisp guitar playing, clean vocals and old school-style of tight renditions of rock standards. The concert is supported by PTDC. Entry is free of cost.
