A heartbreaking incident unfolded on the Ara-Buxar highway when Ganesh and Munna Paswan, two brothers, tragically lost their lives in a violent crash with a runaway truck close to Devkuli village. They were on their way to share the joy of their sister's wedding by distributing invitations.
Buxar: Two brothers died on Tuesday when the bike they were riding collided with a truck on Ara-Buxar highway near Devkuli village under Brahampur police station area of the district. They were on their way to distribute invitation cards for their sister’s wedding.The deceased were identified as Ganesh Paswan (20) and Munna Paswan (22), sons of Brij Bihari Paswan and residents of Karnamepur (Lalu ka Dera) in Shahpur block of Bhojpur district.According to police, a speeding truck hit their motorcycle, killing the two on the spot.Their bodies remained on the road for some time, disrupting traffic on the busy highway. Police from Brahampur station reached the spot after receiving information. A large number of locals had gathered at the site. The police pacified the crowd, cleared the road, and sent the bodies to a govt hospital for the postmortem.Dumraon SDPO Polast Kumar said police are conducting raids to arrest the absconding truck driver.
