Truck driver shot dead in Patna

PATNA: A truck driver was shot dead while his son was seriously injured by unidentified criminals near Sabzi Mandi in Ranipur under-bypass police station area in Patna on Saturday morning. Both were admitted to NMCH for treatment, where the driver died while his son was referred to PMCH in a serious condition.
The deceased has been identified as Rafiq Ahmed, a resident of Sisgarh, Bareilly in Uttar Pradesh.His son Nadeem Ahmed is undergoing treatment. SDPO (Patna City), Amit Sharan said the investigation has been going on to ascertain the reason behind the incident.
Bizman shot at: The bike-borne miscreants shot at a businessman in Ashopur under ShahpurPS in Patna on Saturday. The victim has been identified as Arjun Rai of RK Puram.
