Teacher arrested for ‘assaulting’ students

Chhapra: Police on Saturday arrested a teacher, Manoj Kumar Singh, posted at Board middle school, Chirand road, Garkha, in Saran district following allegation of assaulting the girl students of the school. Manoj, son of Late Sureshwar Singh, is a resident of Garkha under Garkha PS. The villagers to protest the alleged ill behaviour of the teacher staged a dharna. Garkha PS Police soon reached the school and following an inquiry sent the injured girls to Garkha primary health centre for first aid.
