Social workers from Gaya, Mithila join Congress
A wave of enthusiasm swept through the Gaya and Mithila regions as a cadre of social workers, including key influencers such as Sanullah Khan and Misbaul Hoda, made a grand entrance into the Congress party on Sunday.
Patna: Several people and social workers from Gaya and Mithila region joined the Congress party on Sunday in the presence of the party’s state chief Rajesh Ram and AICC secretary and in charge of the party’s Bihar affairs Shahnawaz Alam.Senior lawyer and former Aligarh Muslim University Students’ Union president Sabih Mahmood was also present on this occasion.

A social worker from Gaya Sanullah Khan and another from Bisfi Misbaul Hoda, as well as retired teacher from Keoti Abdul Baki, along with their hundreds of supporters, joined the party, state Congress media in charge Rajesh Rathore said, adding that they expressed their loyalty to the Congress.Speaking on the occasion, AICC secretary said the Congress is committed to upholding the cause of social justice, protecting the Constitution and strengthening democracy in the country. Those who joined the party stressed on taking the Congress ideology to the people and every household.
