It was decided that all the college societies would be revived to promote co-curricular and extracurricular activities and common facilities of drinking water, canteen and toilets would be provided to the students. Seminars and popular lectures would be organized at regular intervals and the old system of holding tutorial classes would be revived for the benefit of students.
Some teachers expressed serious concern at the deteriorating law and order on the campus due to nuisance created by outsiders and demanded immediate ban on entry of unwanted people on the campus. The entry of students, staff and faculty members should be regulated through identity cards and security personnel should be deputed at the college gate.
Some others suggested the provision of compulsory attendance be strictly adhered to while sending the students up for university examinations. Teachers should spend more time on the campus catering to the needs of students and alternative arrangement of classes be made in case some teachers are on leave. The principal should visit different departments regularly with a view to ensuring sound progress of the departments.

Sinha assured the teachers all help in improving the academic atmosphere of the college. The principal said he would write to the state government for expediting the recruitment of teachers and non-teaching staff for proper functioning of the college.
Prominent among those who expressed their views on the occasion included S K Srivastava and Prabha Rani of zoology department, S N Sharma of botany department, Udar Jha and Radha Kant Prasad of chemistry department, R N Das of mathematics department, Atul Aditya Pandey, Rabindra Kumar and Anil Kumar of geology department.
