PATNA: Three bodies were recovered from different areas of Patna district on Wednesday.
The Masaurhi police recovered the body of one Arun Singh alias Hanumanji (45) from a field behind the deceased's residence in town area on Wednesday. Singh was reported missing for the last three days, said SDPO (Masaurhi) Sushil Kumar, adding Arun had left his house in Masaurhi three days back with one of his acquaintances.
On Tuesday, a police team found some clothes and a diary at Sakarpur on Patna-Jehanabad road.

As the police team was trying to gather some information from different telephone numbers mentioned in the diary, Arun's family members on Wednesday reached Masaurhi police station to report about his mysterious disappearance, SDPO Kumar said, adding the family members were shown the recovered clothes and they identified them as belonging to the deceased.
Arun's body was later recovered from a field located behind his residence. He said the deceased's family members have accused Rajeshwar Rai and Ganga Rai of killing him.
The SDPO said Arun had earlier been chargesheeted in a case of attempt to rape a girl for which an FIR was lodged in 2007. He said the victim girl is the niece of one of the two persons who have been accused of killing Arun.
Meanwhile, the body of a woman was recovered from Dhanarua locality. Another body of one Nanki Rai, a resident of Jeevanchak, was recovered from a well near a factory in Deedarganj police station area in Patna City.
