He urged top officials to carry out thorough inspections and present detailed reports, focusing on delivering quality outcomes within set timelines.
Patna: Municipal commissioner Yashpal Meena on Thursday chaired a meeting here to review the progress of various circle-level projects and developmental schemes. The meeting focused on the current status of administrative tasks and the implementation of ongoing initiatives across all municipal zones.During the meeting, Meena took stock of progress from executive officers regarding development and sanitation activities within their respective jurisdictions. The discussions emphasised the necessity of maintaining high-quality standards and ensuring that all departmental work was completed within stipulated timeframes.

Following the assessment, Meena issued directives to senior headquarters officials to conduct regular field inspections of their assigned circles. “These officials must evaluate the actual progress on the ground, implement necessary corrective measures, and submit formal inspection reports back to the headquarters for further review,” he said.To strengthen the monitoring of sanitation and infrastructure efforts, additional and deputy municipal commissioners were designated as senior officers-in-charge for specific zones. These officials will oversee circle-level operations in addition to their existing headquarters responsibilities.The commissioner concluded the meeting by mandating that all projects be finalised according to quality protocols to ensure that residents receive the intended benefits of the municipal schemes.
