PATNA: The alumni of 92-year-old Patna Science College, which has carved out a niche for itself as a leading institution of higher education in science, took a trip down the memory lane here on Sunday at a meeting held after more than a decade.
They all recollected their good old days spent as students in their alma mater and pledged to work whole-heartedly for reviving the past glory of the institution.
They came out openly in extending their full support in ensuring all-round development of their alma mater. They were all of the opinion that college alumni should meet regularly for discussing the problems and finding ways for resolving them.
Prominent among those who graced the occasion included former Patna University vice-chancellor and former college principal K K Jha, Nalanda Open University VC Ravindra Kumar Sinha and pro-VC Kriteshwar Prasad, JD(U) MLC Ranbir Nandan, Lalit Narain Mithila University former VC Rajmani Prasad Sinha and IPS officer Alok Raj.
More than 200 alumni, including academicians, scientists, engineers, doctors and bureaucrats attended the meeting and shared their experiences gained in different walks of life over the years. College principal Radha Kant Prasad presided over the meet.
